If I buy a product partly with cash and partly with a Credit Note, and then return it to store, how is my refund calculated?+
For orders paid partially by cash and partially using a Credit Note, the cash amount will be refunded in cash, while the Credit Note amount will be reissued as a new Credit Note. Customers also have the option to receive the entire refund amount as a Credit Note for future purchases.
Where can I spend my Credit Note?+
Credit Notes are issued when you return a product, especially for Cash on Delivery purchases, or when you choose a Credit Note refund during in-store returns. There are two types of Credit Notes available. Omni Credit Notes, issued for store returns through Qwikcilver, are valid for 1 year and can be redeemed online or in-store across Lifestyle, Max, and Home Centre. Credit Notes issued for online return requests or pickup returns are valid for 6 months and can only be used for shopping Home Centre products online.
I paid for an order using a Credit Note and a Debit or Credit Card, but I want to return a part of my order. How is my refund processed? I+
For partial cancellations or returns, refunds are calculated based on the proportionate value of the Credit Note or Landmark Rewards points used in the original order. Registered users will receive the applicable amount as My Credit, while guest users will receive a new Credit Note for the corresponding value. The remaining refund amount will be credited back to the original payment method, such as Debit Card, Credit Card, bank account, or wallet. This ensures that refunds are fairly distributed according to the payment split used during purchase.
I paid for part of my order using my Credit Balance or a Credit Note and the rest with a Debit or Credit Card, and then cancelled the order before it was dispatched. How is my refund processed?+
The amount paid using My Credit or Credit Note will be refunded back to the same source. Registered users will receive the balance as My Credit in their account, while guest users will receive a new Credit Note of the same value, valid for 6 months from the date of issue. Any remaining payment amount will be refunded to the original payment method, such as card, bank account, wallet, or PayPal account.
I paid for part of my order using My Credit balance or a Credit Note and requested to pay the balance using Cash on Delivery. I cancelled the order before it arrived. How will my refund be processed?+
Registered users will receive their refund amount as My Credit in their account, which can be used to shop across any of our online brands. Guest users will receive a new Credit Note for the refunded amount. The newly issued Credit Note will remain valid for 6 months from the date of issue and can be used to purchase Home Centre products online.
I paid for my order with Cash on Delivery. Can I return the products and get a cash refund?+
Cash refunds and bank transfers are not available for this return method. Instead, the refund amount will be credited to the My Credit section of your account. My Credit can be conveniently used for future purchases across any of our online brands.
If I pay for my order by Debit or Credit Card, how long will it take to process my refund?+
Refund timelines depend on the return method chosen. For online return requests or pickup returns, it usually takes 4–5 business days for the products to be received and quality checked, followed by 2 business days for refund approval. After approval, banks or card providers may take an additional 2–7 business days to process the refund. For returns made directly at one of our stores, refunds are approved immediately, while the final credit timeline depends on your bank or card provider.
Can I exchange my purchase for another product?+
Direct product exchanges are not available. However, you can return your products at a Home Centre or combined Home Centre and Lifestyle store and use the refund to make a new purchase immediately. Cash refunds are available only for orders originally paid in cash. For payments made through card, wallet, or NetBanking, refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Customers can also choose an Omni Credit Note, valid for 1 year, which can be used online or in-store at Lifestyle, Max, or Home Centre.
What if I want to return an order that came with a HomeCentre.com voucher?+
If you return your order partially or completely, any HomeCentre.com voucher used for the purchase will be cancelled. However, you will still receive a refund for the returned items. If the voucher value has already been utilized, the applicable voucher amount will be deducted from the final refund value.
Will you accept a return if I've discarded the outer packaging?+
Yes, products should be securely packed before handing them over to the courier partner for a return pickup. When scheduling a return through customer support, please ensure the items are wrapped properly to help facilitate a smooth and safe return process.
What are the Terms and conditions for Credit Notes issued by Qwikcilver?+
LOIPL Omni Credit Notes are prepaid vouchers issued by Qwikcilver, valid for one year and redeemable across Lifestyle, Home Centre, and select Max stores, as well as online. They can be used multiple times until the balance is exhausted, but cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. Any remaining balance from partial store use is issued as a new credit note, and additional payment is required if the purchase exceeds the credit value.
